General Yarn Care Tips
- Please wind hank into ball or cake before you start your project. You will get a lot of tangles and knots if you start knitting or crocheting as is - you have been warned!
- Your yarn is washed, rinsed and soaked in wool wash after the dyeing process however some darker colors may still bleed.
Alpaca, mohair, silk and untreated wool:
- Hand wash cold.
- Wash dark colors separately.
- Only use detergents that are made specifically for washing wool and other fine fibers.
- Move gently, don’t rub!
- Rinse thoroughly.
- Shape the garment and lay it flat to dry.
Superwash treated wool:
- Superwash treated wool can be washed in machine, using the wool/gentle cycle.
- Do not use fabric conditioner.
- Wash dark colors separately.
- Only use detergents that are made specifically for washing wool.
